I recently worked with Tukoda and its Principal, Yemilo Audu, for a hybrid training workshop in Winnipeg, and it was one of the best support experiences I’ve had in over 35 countries. From the start, Yemilo’s warm, focused communication put me at ease. She met with me in advance to understand my presentation goals and hybrid support needs, leaving me with “positive vibes” for the event. A week prior, she provided a detailed playbook with essential information and a segment-by-segment outline of my presentation, complete with engagement activities to keep virtual attendees fully involved. On the day of the event, Yemilo arrived early, was thoroughly prepared, and worked seamlessly with the onsite tech team, ensuring I was comfortable with all the technology. Her attention to detail, like reminding me to turn off my mic when not speaking, made a big difference. Throughout the workshop, she flawlessly managed the hybrid format, engaging virtual attendees in real-time with in-room activities. Yemilo and Tukoda  exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely be working with her again when I’m back in Winnipeg!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Yemilo in various capacities over the past year, and I continue to be blown away by how professional, warm, thoughtful, and fun she is to work with.

Initially, I was part of a group that hired her on a year-long contract for our professional association, and we threw everything at her! She managed conferences, launches, professional development workshops, and AGMs – everything from simple Zoom presentations to hybrid trainings, to the annoyingly technical (LinkedIn Livestreams), and finally, large in-person conferences. Through it all, she was a constant source of calm, organization, and good humor. I’ve planned many events myself, but Yemilo brought a level of smoothness and precision that elevated everything – often thinking of important details I hadn’t even considered.

I also had the chance to experience her support firsthand when I delivered one of those PD sessions. Managing breakout rooms, presentation materials, attendees – it’s a lot, but Yemilo’s technical support let me just focus on my delivery. It made all the difference, and the session was a great success!

So when I was hosting a large personal event earlier this year, I knew exactly who to call. Yemilo took on the event production with style and grace, helping me navigate multiple vendors and moving parts, adding her own unique spin and ideas, and letting me actually enjoy my own event. My guests even sent me messages afterward to tell me how great she was.
